Chapter 38
Javon pulled up to the restaurant that Andra suggested they have dinner at. He shook his head when he realized that the restaurant she recommended was none other than Kalil’s. He was about to get out of the car when he saw Andra walking over towards him. He slid his hand under his shirt where he nine rested when she knocked on his window.
Lowering the window down a little, Andra looked at him funny but quickly brushed his awkwardness off.
“There is a slight change in plans tonight; the restaurant is closed down for whatever reason. No one is saying why though. So where would you like to go instead?” she asked leaning on the car with one hand giving him a great view of her cleavage.
“How about we try that new seafood restaurant they just built out in St. Charles?” Javon suggested looking at her breast through the crack in the window.
“Okay that’s fine. I know where that’s at I will meet you there.” she said looking at him suspiciously as she backed away from his car and made her way back to her own car.
“This is going to be easier than I thought.” She said getting into her car and pulling out of the lot.
“Ha, this shit is going to be a walk in the park.” Javon stated to himself pulling off behind her.
It took them fifteen minutes to get to the seafood restaurant. Once they were inside and seated Andra tried her hand with Javon but he soon nipped all that in the bud with the few words that left his lips.
“I know what you did last night at the motel.” He said picking his water up and taking a sip.
“What are you talking about?” she asked trying to play dumb.
“Come on, let’s not sit here playing dumb. I know what you did to ole boy at the motel. You know the one you left in that room stinking on the floor with his brains blown out?” He sat his water back down on the table making eye contact with Andra.
“So what do you want? Are you going to go to the police and tell them that I am the murderer?” Andra played calm but inside she was steaming mad. She wished like hell she would have brought her gun into the restaurant with her.
“I thought about doing that but then I realized that maybe we can help each other out.” He grinned at her making Andra want to knock that grin clean off his face.
“What could we possibly help each other with?”
“You could help me get something or better yet someone who belongs to me back.” Andra leaned forward in her seat he really had her full attention now.
“You want me to help you kidnap someone; is that what you’re asking of me?”
“That is exactly what I am asking of you.” Javon sat back in his seat and waited for her reaction to his request or more so demand. She really didn’t have a choice in his book.
